About Wendy

I have been a dog owner for over 28 years, during which time I
have competed in Obedience, Agility and Flyball. I have been a Professional
behaviourist/dog trainer since 1997 and have an FdSc and HNC in Canine Behaviour
and Training (Distinction) which I studied at Bishop Burton
College. I have experience working with dogs of all ages and abilities,
from puppies to adult dogs and dogs with behaviour difficulties.
I am actively involved in dog and animal charity activities. I
support Cheltenham Councils ‘Paws in the Park’ day,
by providing advice and information to the public on the day and
helping to raise their perception of good dog ownership. I help
raise funds for the Evesham Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue and also
attend local fetes providing demonstrations and advice to dog owners.
Dickson Dog Training is Kennel Club listed and holds regular Kennel
Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme tests.
I enjoy working with people whilst helping them realise the full
potential of their relationship with their dog A truly happy owner-dog
relationship can evolve into a most rewarding and enjoyable experience
for both.
